Almost there

I've got my visa yesterday. Finally a type d+c visa, multiple entries. Yay!!! I've also finished the PDOS yesterday.

And I am currently processing my documents with POEA. I went there around 6:45am, but until now, I haven't finished all the steps. I am almost finished though when they have their lunch break. Should be back around 1:30pm to pay the fees. And then after that, may e-receipt or OEC na ko!!! hehehe. Kunti na lang...

Tomorrow's my last day with SGV. I have to turnover all my files and my laptop. My boss asked me to talk to her tomorrow. I think that's for my clearance. My last day with SGV should be on Sept 28, but I already filed my VL starting Sept 13 until Sept 28.

I will also buy some Euros tomorrow (for my pocket money).

And I will also check with my travel agent if my flight with Lufthansa is already confirmed (mas mura kasi dito, USD755 lang, compared with KLM na USD955). Sana di na ako nakawaiting list. Well, kung san ako sure na airline on Friday, un na un (pero sana sa Lufthansa).

Update

Hmmm.... ano bang update ko?

12. Wait for the working visa
13. Receipt of working visa

I already got my visa last Tuesday, unfortunately, the Embassy issued a wrong visa. Instead of a Type D+C visa, I've got a Type D visa.

What's the difference between the two?

Type D visa - This is a national visa for a stay exceeding 90 days. It is only valid in Belgium, but can also be used for transit through one or more Schengen countries.

Type D + C visa - This visa entitles you to travel freely within the Schengen area during the first three months after your entry into Belgium, while you wait to receive your official residence permit.

(Definition taken from http://www.diplomatie.be/en/travel/visa/faqDetail.asp?TEXTID=40133)

My employer also told us to apply for a Type D+C visa. So, I emailed the Embassy asking for the clarification. They called the following day (while I am in POEA) and informed me to return to them my passport and visa, so they could reissue the correct visa. Hopefully, I could get it by Monday.

So, heto pa din ako.

12. Wait for the working visa
13. Receipt of working visa
14. Buy luggage and pack things - I already bought my luggage. Nakasale kasi sya nung binili ko. hehehe. Ayoko pang magempake.
15. Process documents with POEA - I am partly done with this. I am just waiting for my visa (see 12 and 13) and also the signed copy of the addendum of the contract. (May kulang daw kasi sa employment contract). Pero, I already scheduled my PDOS (predeparture orientation seminar) on Monday at 8am.
16. Buy plane ticket
17. Fly to Lux

From the time I've decided to accept the job offer, marami ng nangyari na nagtest ng pasensya ko. I don't want to wait, madaling uminit ang ulo ko pag matagal akong pinaghihintay kasi madali akong mabore. Maybe, it's because I used to have a fast paced life. Di ako sanay pag ala akong masyadong ginagawa at naghihintay lang. (Kaya nga feeling ko, nung unang nagVL ako, ang dami kong nararamdaman na sakit kasi ala akong ibang magawa kungdi magisip na baka maysakit ako. wahaha).

Ngayon, naghihintay pa din ako:

1. For the visa
2. For the documents needed for POEA
3. For confirmation of my flight - Nagpabook kasi ako kanina sa travel agency, nagpaquote ako kung how much ung flight. Ung pinakamura, nakawaiting list ako. Sana maconfirm ako dun. =)

"Let me ask you something. If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other?" - God, from Evan Almighty

Live to worship

My morning alarm.

Live to worship (Point of Grace)

A simple offering is all that we bring
We give our lives, claim You as King
We are Your servants and before You we bow
With every breath we make this vow

Chorus
We will live to worship, give You praise
With all our hearts for all our days
Father we want to do what You created us to
We will live to worship You

Our every moment is a gift of Your grace
We are all Yours, now and always
More than just words, oh Lord, the cry of our hearts
Is to let our lives speak of how great You are

Chorus

You are worthy, You are holy
You alone are deserving
You are holy, You are worthy
You alone are deserving

Chorus

One step at a time

I was a bit down a few days ago because of my medical exam results. There was a finding on my ECG, and I was really worried. I should be worried because all along I thought I was healthy and ok, and a medical finding on my ECG was really a big deal. I went there last Tuesday to check if I should retake the ECG or I should take other test to verify if I indeed am fit.

The findings were: 1) pre-hypertensive (bp:130/70) and 2) sinus bradycardia. The doctor said that there was nothing to be worried about the sinus chuvaness. She just asked me to monitor my bp for that day. Buti na lang normal na yung bp ko nung nagpacheck ako ulit (120/80). She already cleared me and they will already forward my medical exam’s result (Fit to work) to the Embassy. Yipeee…

Let's check what do I still need to do:

1. Look for job - ok
2. Pray that an employer would consider me in one of their openings - ok
3. Pass interview with HR - ok
4. Pass interview with Partner - ok
5. Pray that they will offer me a job - ok
6. Wait for the working permit (Pray that I’ll get my work permit on time) - ok
7. Receipt of the work permit - ok
8. Apply for working visa - ok
9. As a visa’s requirement, undergo medical examination - ok
10. Pray that I’ll have no significant medical finding that the accredited clinic will conclude that I am not fit to work abroad - ok
11. Pass the medical exam - ok
12. Wait for the working visa - ongoing
13. Receipt of working visa
14. Buy luggage and pack things
15. Process documents with POEA
16. Buy plane ticket
17. Fly to Lux

Wow! I am almost there.

I’ll keep on praying and thanking HIM for all the help and the favors. Merci beaucoup Lord!

Happy

I am so happy!!!

I went home early (kasi maagang natapos ang training) today (un nga lang biglang umulan, kaya naginternet muna ako). I don't have any engagements that needs to be done (kasi tapos na lahat). I have my weekends back (kasi ala ng kailangang iOT na mga trabaho). I will be on vacation soon (kasi nga dakilang slacker na ako).

Biglang umulan ng malakas kanina. Dala ko pa naman ang laptop ko, tapos ala pa akong payong. Kaya dumaan n muna ako ng netopia at nagcheck ng mail.

And yun na. I was informed (via email) that I already have my work permit!!! Yipeee... makakapagprocess na ako ng visa. I am so happy. Sana alang maging problem sa pag-ayos ng visa, para makalipad na ako...
